Z-Line Designs expands into casual segment, names Mark Gorr senior VP

Z-Line Designs, a leading manufacturer of contemporary home office and home entertainment products, has named Mark Gorr as senior vice president of its newly established casual furniture division.
Gorr has held several executive management positions in the casual industry. For the past nine years, he has served as VP of consumer sales and product line management for Tropitone Furniture. Prior to that, Gorr held executive positions at Brown Jordan International, Veneman Collections, Modus Furniture International and GMS Imports.
“To be part of creating, building and launching a furniture division from the very beginning is an opportunity that most executives don’t even have a chance to be involved with in their careers and was one I could not say no to,” Gorr said. “I look forward to the challenge of introducing Z-Line Designs to the casual furniture industry and quickly become a brand known in the industry as a leader in design with a strong reputation for comfort and reliability.”
Z-Line Designs will expose its new brand next month at the Casual Market in Chicago. In addition to showing its line on the eighth floor of the Merchandise Mart, interested dealers can learn more via a “special bonus peak” at the Holiday Inn in a private conference room.
